Adam and Ella, our Directors, live as well as work in Herne Bay, so they know what local means. Adam has over thirty years experience in the Plumbing and Heating trade, and he’s worked for all the major nationals. Every time he moved the customers would follow him so we decided to open up on our own in Herne Bay where there was a demand for a quality-oriented local business. Ella looks after the organisational and financial side of the business. We started small with just Adam and Ella, and have built up the staff numbers as we’ve got busier.

We concentrate on providing a high level of customer service that is not provided by the nationals.

You’ll find a varied and refreshing selection of products: we stay away from the ranges our competitors sell, and offer something different from the options found on the internet.

We only choose products that are manufactured in Europe and the UK.

Adam & Ella Business owners

Adam has worked in the plumbing and heating trade since leaving school in 1987, and over that time has worked for all the major nationals. Adam and Ella have owned Herne Bay Plumbing since 2013 and have lived in Herne Bay for 20 years with their 3 kids. When not at work Adam supports West Ham United. Ella Copes with the strains of daily work by doing yoga and walking their dog Pip.

Sim & Nick Showroom

Adam’s brother Sim joined the business in July 2021 to manage the showroom. Sim has worked in the plumbing and heating trade for 20 years and he has vast expertise in both bathrooms and plumbing and heating. Nick came from the tile industry to join us in August 2020. Nick brings a design led approach to bathroom sales and will be fronting our new disability showroom to be developed in 2022.

David & Harrison

David is the assistant manager and runs the trade counter. He has worked as a plumber and been in the industry for 12 years.

Harrison joined Herne Bay Plumbing as a trainee in 2018 and is now a valuable part of our trade counter team He has developed a vast knowledge of all things plumbing and is also our plastics expert.
