Adam and Ella, our Directors, live as well as work in Herne Bay, so they know what local means. Adam has over thirty years experience in the Plumbing and Heating trade, and he’s worked for all the major nationals. Every time he moved the customers would follow him so we decided to open up on our own in Herne Bay where there was a demand for a quality-oriented local business. Ella looks after the organisational and financial side of the business. We started small with just Adam and Ella, and have built up the staff numbers as we’ve got busier.

We concentrate on providing a high level of customer service that is not provided by the nationals.

You’ll find a varied and refreshing selection of products: we stay away from the ranges our competitors sell, and offer something different from the options found on the internet.

We only choose products that are manufactured in Europe and the UK.

We have a one thousand square foot showroom but even this shows only a small selection of what we have available for you. So come in, have a look around, and talk to us about all the options available.

Adam Baker

Director
Adam has worked in the plumbing and heating trade since leaving school in 1987, and over that time has worked for all the major nationals. Adam and his wife Ella have owned Herne Bay Plumbing since 2013. When not at work Adam supports West Ham United.

Ella Baker

Director
Married for over 20 years, Ella lives in Herne Bay with Adam and their 3 kids. She copes with the strains of daily work by doing yoga and walking their dog.

Jon Newbury

Manager
Jon is our right hand man. He has worked in the industry since 2004 and been with us since 2014. Jon is also our resident plastics expert.

Heating Manager
Chris joined us at the end of 2018 as our central heating expert. He has been in the plumbing and heating industry for 20 years.

Trade Counter Trainee
Harrison has been with us since September 2017. He has just completed a certificate in retail with Canterbury college. He has picked up the product knowledge very quickly. We have big hopes for him and his future here.
